Governance, strategy, business continuity, and digital change for Irish boards, charities, and SMEs. Dublin consultancy led by Sarah Keane.
DEDICO works with boards, charities, public bodies, and growing SMEs that need an outside pair of hands to bring order to something complex. A governance gap. A strategy that's overdue. A continuity plan that doesn't exist yet. A digital change nobody internally has time to lead. Every piece of work ends in a document your board, your funder, or your team can actually use, not a report that sits on a shelf.
Areas of work
We do four kinds of work for organisations, and most engagements sit cleanly inside one of them. If your need crosses two, we'll say so at the start and propose a phased scope.
- Governance reviews, an independent look at how your board works, where the gaps are, and what to fix first. Sarah currently chairs the Ethics Sub-Committee of a national charity board and brings that perspective to every review.
- Strategy development, a clear, fundable, three-to-five year plan, built with you and grounded in your own evidence rather than copied from a template.
- Business continuity, ISO 22301-aligned plans that keep you running when something goes wrong, scoped to the size and complexity of your operation.
- Digital and AI for SMEs, practical digital change, and a straight answer on what AI can and can't do for your business right now.
We also deliver keynotes, workshops and training for organisations on topics close to the consulting work, for boards, leadership teams and conferences.
Who we work with
The clients are usually one of these:
- Charity or non-profit boards preparing for a regulator review, a strategy refresh, or a CEO transition.
- Public bodies and agencies who need a discreet outside review before something becomes a problem.
- Growing SMEs whose internal systems and processes have stopped fitting the business.
- Family-owned and founder-led businesses going through a generational or digital transition.
Most engagements are with organisations between ten and two hundred staff. We're comfortable working with smaller teams too where the work needs are clear.
How we work
Every engagement starts with a 20-minute call. If it's a fit, we agree a scope, a fixed fee, a timeline, and a single named deliverable. Most pieces of work run between three and twelve weeks. You get drafts as we go, not at the end, and the final document is yours to publish, file, or table at your next board meeting without reformatting.
Featured case study
We delivered Croke Park's first stadium-wide business continuity plan, built to ISO 22301 across match days, concerts, conferences, and the GAA Museum.
Next step
If you have a piece of work in mind, the fastest way to know whether DEDICO is the right fit is a 20-minute call.
